The International Association of Physics Students is a non-for-profit NGO which promotes good relations among physics students. Alongside international collaborations, IAPS is known for holding annual major events like the International Conference for Physics students.
In 1986, a group of students from different countries gathered around in an attempt to organize an event for student physicists, thus giving birth to the International Conference for Physics Students (ICPS).
Next year, ICPS will be in the Philippines, Baguio City and Manila! This is only the second time that ICPS will be held in Asia. ICPS 2023 was preceded by ICPS 2022 hosted in Puebla, Mexico last August 2022.
This event is organized by the UP Physics Sphere and the PUP Physics Society under the Philippine Association of Liknayan Students (PALS).
